The Curse of Nail Biting

As of early April 2010, I quit a life time addiction with biting my nails.  Like really, it was bad, if they would have had a 12 step program I would have to sign up.  But anyways, I have always thoughts long, healthy, beautiful nails were just so classy, but could attain them myself.  So I began treating my nails the way they should be treated.  I have come up with my own simple nail care routine (which will be posted later).  So I hope everyone enjoys my blog and future posts. Please give as much feedback as possible,  I'd love to hear from all of you!

  1. Congrats on quitting nail biting! I know it's hard to do. I use to bite my nails when I was young. I don't bite anymore but sometimes I do bite the cuticles. I think when I get really upset it happens. I also had an Uncle who bit his nails so badly they bled. They looked horrible. I quit biting immediately after seeing and talking with a friends Grandfather. We were outside playing badmitten and he must've seen me biting my nails. When we we're sitting down he came over and said look at my nails. They were gross. Must've been more that halfway bitten down. They were puffy and raggedy. I almost thre up! He just sat there and talked to me. I always remembered his nails and would stop myself biting. It was the best thing that happened to me.

  2. I never bit my nails, but I bite my cuticles. (Yuck!) I've been doing better, but the still look disgusting.

I commend you for quitting that habit.
